I think that barbie dolls are OK for young girls because by playing with them children get better in their speech. They could pronounce words better and have a longer vocabulary.Yes, barbies are expensive but are worth it for your children, but at the same time barbies can be not so good because they can make your child lazy and not wanting to run and exercise and could gain weight.
